Personal Development Workshops

Spend a day with horses and discover yourself.

Horses as prey animals live in the moment and give you instant feedback about yourself. These sensitive, intelligent animals will show you who & how you are.  Their survival depends on the quality of their leader and their place in the herd.  They can show you how to:

  • establish effective boundaries
  • read body language
  • be an effective leader
  • identify your strengths and weaknesses

Women, Horses and Fear Workshop
For any woman whose passion for horses and riding has been damaged by fear or loss of confidence.  If you would like to reconnect with horses or rekindle your passion for riding, this workshop is for you.

  • improve your inner and outer awareness of and sensitivity to equine body language
  • engage in a safe, respectful & trusting relationship with a horse

This workshop is open to anyone who is or has been involved in activities with horses and have been afraid or lost confidence.  All interaction with horses is done from the ground (no riding).  Each participant determines the amount of horse contact that is right for them.

Workshop Testimonial:
Hi, Anne ... I must say my head has been filled with so many aspects of the day I spent with you & the other ladies at Amaranth Farms. When we arrived home, I went immediately over to the barn to say Hi to my little herd...and when Nairobi & I saw each other, we had a very respectable greeting, and I felt very refreshed from my Clinic. I still have lots of work to do, there is no question, but I left the Clinic, actually feeling very fortunate.Although I still have anxious moments to deal with,I had lots of things to refer back to from the clinic. I know I want to continue moving forward with Nairobi & my training & I felt very encouraged to do so.I know that there will be ups and downs..but that is to be expected.

I also liked how the day flowed, how the comfort zone  was set early on. I really appreciated the
realness of how some of the ladies expressed & released their emotions. It showed me how
some of these women have real courage to allow themselveds to be exposed & also how hopefully safe they felt in the company of other woman and, horses.Despite their fears...
I personally will remember that day for a long time to come.Thank you again !!
